How long we keep your data and why.
Active account data is retained while your account is active. Matter records, documents, and case intelligence are retained for the life of the matter plus a reasonable archival period. Deleted items are soft-deleted and purged within 90 days.
If we receive a legal hold, court order, or lawful preservation request, we may retain data beyond normal periods as required by law.
System audit logs are retained for a minimum of 12 months for security and compliance purposes. Audit logs do not contain case content — they record system actions only.
Transaction and billing records are retained as required by tax and financial regulations, typically 7 years.
